2. General information

We process personal data only as needed to operate this website, respond to enquiries and provide the features offered, in accordance with the GDPR and applicable German data protection laws.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by STRATO. Visits may generate technical records such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and error status. This supports secure and reliable website operation. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Contact form and email

If you contact us, we process the name, email address and message you provide in order to reply. These details are not used for newsletters. Legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f), and Article 6(1)(a) where separate consent is obtained. Messages are retained only as necessary to deal with the enquiry or comply with legal retention duties.

5. Visitor stories (BEMOVITA Stories)

If you voluntarily submit a story, the content and any details intended for publication may be processed. Personal information should only be published with informed permission. Please avoid unnecessary health details about other people. Special-category health data require a separate assessment and explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) GDPR.

6. DeepL translation

The website uses a DeepL API integration to translate submitted stories. Selected text may be transmitted to DeepL for translation. Unnecessary personal or sensitive details should not be included.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

WordPress and installed extensions may use technically necessary storage. Non-essential cookies or similar access generally require prior consent under Section 25 TDDDG. WordPress alone does not automatically require a cookie banner.

8. External links and social media

This website links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. An ordinary link should not connect to those services merely by being displayed. Clicking a link takes you to the third-party provider, whose privacy policy applies.

9. Future video content

According to the current project status, YouTube videos are not yet embedded. If external videos are added, we intend to show a locally hosted placeholder and connect to the provider only after an informed visitor action.

10. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access (Article 15), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction (18), portability (20) and objection (21). Consent may be withdrawn for the future (Article 7(3)). Contact kontakt@bemovita.de. You may also complain to a supervisory authority (Article 77), including the data protection authority of North Rhine-Westphalia.

11. Changes

This policy will be updated if website functions, providers or processing activities change.
